Dr. Michael McClung is a northwest Austin chiropractor who specializes in pain management and treatment. He has long been enamored with the human form and how our bodies are designed to handle stress and pressure on a daily basis. After receiving an undergraduate degree in architecture from the University of Texas at Austin, he pursued a path of learning in the science of chiropractic with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Texas Chiropractic College.
Since then, Dr. McClung has garnered numerous professional distinctions and positions that mark him as a true expert in the field. He was one of the first chiropractors in America to become board-certified by the American Academy of Pain Management. He also has advanced certifications in Whiplash and Brain Traumatology from the Spine Research Institute of San Diego and Motor Vehicle Crash Forensic Risk Analysis. These in particular came after he himself was in a rear-end automobile collision. Today, Dr. Michael McClung is an expert witness for those injured in automobile collisions and has testified numerous times in court.
During his career, Dr. McClung has served as the President of the Central Texas Region of the Texas Chiropractic Association, as well as, the President of the Travis County Chiropractic Society.
